@GrimreaperFoods Hell Raiser Chocolate Review

Grim Reaper's Hell Raiser Milk Chilli Chocolate
Its the start of a new year and no doubt you have had too much chocolate. But have you had any quality chocolate?
Grim Reaper's Hell Raiser Milk Chilli Chocolate is chocolate for chilli heads. There are plenty of chocolates out there with 'a hint' of chilli but this one is not designed for those people.

As Grim Reaper foods develops their packaging designs continue to grow. This bad has the great touch of being sealed on the edge with a ribbon with I love. The packet says

"With Devilishly Hot Naga Jolokia, Sweet Orange, Clove Oil & Cinnamon Can you Handle the Heat?Innocent milk chocolate corrupted with Naga chillies, orange oil, clove oil and cinnamon, bringing you heat summoned from the deepest depths of hell. This devilishly hot bar will test even the most seasoned of chilli lovers!"
I would say that is a very accurate and honest description of the wonderful contents awaiting you inside. Each  bar of  Hell Raiser is hand made by the Reaper himself. Not content like others of just adding a bit of chilli to some chocolate, care and though has gone into the overall flavor and balance of this product. You dont just get chocolate or just and overwhelming sense of chilli heat as you might expect. Instead with natural vanilla; essential oil of sweet orange, cinnamon, and essential oil of clove the flavor is in fact quite complex. The heat is provided courtesy of 0.5 Naga Jolokia Chilli, On its own this chilli is known to be potent and also very fruity, using just the right amount you get a nice dose of heat to be satisfied as a chili head but also not too much to overpower the cinnamon and orange. Finally the bar does have a cool name too!

To pick up a bar of Hell Raiser Milk Chilli Chocolate click here to go to Scorchio

If you don't think you can stop at just one bar of chocolate you can buy the full set of these three innovative chili chocolates by clicking the picture below or clicking
here to get Hell Raiser, Black Widow and Purgatory be warned though these are literally so good that suppliers often sell out fast forcing the reaper back in the kitchen!

@SDCF_CO_UK Hot Habanero Sauce Review:

South Devon Chilli Farm Hot Habanero SauceThe South Devon Chilli farm produce a very wide range of products. I have visited their farm and they shop is well worth dropping by if you ever get the chance.

This week I have been trying their Hot Habanero Sauce. The bottle is 100ml and has their great logo at the top with an almost innocent looking picture of a chilli giving no real indication of the Rating 150,000-200,000 Scoville heat contained within.

The bottle says "The Habanero is the King of chillies - a great flavour and VERY HOT. The chillies used in the sauce are grown and cooked on our farm."

To get you thinking this sauce is Winner of a Gold Great Taste Award 2005 and 2007. As well as winner of a one-star gold Great Taste Award 2010.

The ingredients highlight the purity of the sauce 50% fresh Habanero chillies from their farm cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt. The habanero chili is a very fruity chilli packed with natural flavour alongside its impressive heat rating so not much is needed alongside it. I am pleased the South Devon Chilli farm have stuck to this and only added sweet sharpness to the powerful flavour.

Its true to say that and hot sauce containing habanero is mainly about heat, but the taste of this one accentuates all that is good about the habanero providing a rich full flavour not found in many equivalent sauces available in teh market. the sauce itself is quite runny as its mostly pure but not too runny than something like Tabasco's version of the Habanero sauce

South Devon Chilli Farm Hot Habanero Sauce can be used on its own dashed onto any food but is ideal for adding heat and flavour to spicy dishes. A few drops go a long way when used as a table condiment.

You can pick yourself up a bottle from Scorchio by clicking here enjoy and check out their other products available.

@GrimReaperFoods White chilli chocolate review

Grim Reaper's Purgatory White Chilli Chocolate#Purgatory I must start this review by explaining that I am not a great chocolate fan. Its just doesn't excite me and much to the confusion of my friends I freeze chocolate before eating it just to add some texture as I like the snap. Before now I have tried quite a few chili chocolates and almost all of them chicken out adding just hint of chilli into the bar generally leavign my taste buds disappointed. Grim Reaper's new white Chilli chocolate Purgatory has changed my views on chilli chocolate forever!

The packaging you can see on the left is simple and stunning. An awesome graphic and nice touch of branded ribbon in the side. The writing on the packet continues the familiar wonderful theatrical style accompanying all Grim Reaper products.

"Punished with Hot Naga Jolokia, mixed spices, Cocoa Nibs and Bergamot

Cleanse your soul and confess your sins with this precious White Chocolate Bar. Blended with Cocoa Nibs, Bergamot Oil and Mixed Spices... Are you pure enough to enter a world of heavenly taste?"

On opening the colourful packaging you are greeted with an innocent bar of white chocolate noticeably speckled with hidden treats. Once you bite into the creamy white bar you are greeted with  the delicate warming orange spice of the bergamont balanced with the natural vanilla. The cocoa nibs provide you with a crunchy texture and then BAM! almost unexpected you get the heat of the naga jolokia which is enough to gain the notice of a true chili head but not to much to make it unpleasant or an endurance test. Don't fear or avoid this chocolate if you don't like the power of the naga, the mix of the flavours may sound complex and powerful, possibly too many, but I assure you they are skillfully blended and balanced generating a moreish delight. This blows other chilli chocolates out of the water who just have two flavours and no texture. As I sit here there is one square left from the bar.... I must find some more...

You may be thinking... this sounds good. Don't just take my word for it I came home to a delivery of 2.5 bars of chocolate, the white one had been munched before I even got to open the packet myself!  Grim Reaper's Purgatory chocolate is also winner of a much deserved 2011 National Chilli Award. If you like what you hear pick yourself up a bar of Purgatory by clicking here from Scorchio

If you don't think you can stop at just one bar of chocolate you can buy the full set of these three innovative chili chocolates by clicking the picture below or clicking
here to get Hell Raiser, Black Widow and Purgatory be warned though these are literally so good that at the time of writing this review I know the entire first batch is sold out. But never fear the Reaper is working on a further 2200 bars over this weekend to feed your hunger!

Chilli Honey Review

Chilli Honey@chilliheat from the mighty  "the chilli pepper company"  have produced something I haven't seen before Chilli Honey, its 95% honey and 5% Cayenne chilli! I have met Gerald, the brains behind the chilli pepper company, at a number of festivals watching him inflict both pleasure and pain on regular customers and unsuspecting cocky people that he hands a whole fresh naga for the first time, very amusing!!

This Chilli Honey enriched with cayenne pepper adds a wonderful warmth to your breakfast. There appears to be an increasing number of products arriving on the chilli market in the forms of spreads and I welcome the warmer wake up call they provide. This jar of chili honey has been described at liquid gold and can be used not just on your toast but in a stir fry to add both sweetness and heat and also in a drink instead of sugar.

At £3.49 a jar its not priced too bad for a gourmet specialist condiment but with postage may be a little much so make sure you buy your jar as part of a larger order. If you would like to get hold of some tasty Chilli Honey you can pick up some from scorchio by clicking here.

Pain Is Good Jamaican Hot Sauce Review

Pain is Good - Batch #114 Jamaican Hot SauceI thought I would follow on from the review of Levi Roots with Pain is Good Jamaican Hot Sauce. Each bottle of Pain is Good range from the USA comes with the same distinct labels of someone in pain enjoying the wonderful sauce inside. I like this shape of bottle for any sauce and even the label comes with a mini story:

"In the jungles of Jamaica, far from the soft, white beaches and luxury resorts, there's a small shack with a small garden. In the garden, Scotch Bonnet and Habanero peppers are grown. In the shack, jerk sauce is made with them. In the mouths of those who eat it, a strange voodoo begins to take hold, consuming the body, mind and soul in a fiery, hypnotic euphoria. In this bottle is that sauce. In this world there is no sensational quite like it"

This hot sauce has classic Jamaican seriously hot flavour, but with plenty more to offer than cheap imitations. The heat comes from the powerful habanero pepper alongside a sharp twang from pineapple juice and finally jerk seasoning giving the characteristic Jamaican taste you expect.

I tried this sauce for the first time in August 2011 in a new chilli shop in Brighton run by Chilli Pepper Pete. On first taste I was a little disappointed as there was definitely Jamaican flavour but it just lacked something. I bought a bottle to experiment with and quickly learnt that this sauce comes alive when added to chicken for a classic Jerk style dish... obviously with rice and peas!

Adding Pain is Good Jamaican Hot Sauce to simple dishes like good old cheese on toast is a definite winning combo too, (you will never use worchestershire sauce again) A few dollops in your bolognese also brings it alive from the sale old dish. Generally this sauce appears to go better with cooked dishes rather than as a dipping sauce. However it is a great one to have in your fridge to add a twist to many dishes to surprise your guests and sometimes even yourself when you re-heat the next day and forget you have added hababeros!

Mad Dog Green Amigo Hot Sauce Review:

Mad Dog Green Amigo Hot SauceMad Dog Green Amigo Hot Sauce is one of the tasty mild sauces in the Mad Dog Range. Why Mad Dog for a name... one you have seen their other sauces like Mad Dog 38 Special Pepper Extract - 3 Million Scovilles you will understand

But back to the Green Amigo. The bottle has their signature dog on the front, this time shaking his maracas and saying:

"Experience the mouth watering combination of fresh ingredients in Green Amigo and transport your taste buds somewhere south of the border."

This is very true of the contents. The hot sauce tastes fantastically fresh, jam packed with Jalapenos combined with lime and coriander giving an authentic Mexican flavor. This sauce can be used to instantly create a quick salsa by adding a pile of chopped tomatoes. If you can get hold of them try it with tomatillos (mexgrocer.com) for a salsa verde.
Reasonably priced around £3.99 this Green Amigo sauce from the USA will add a fresh zing and Jalapeno chili hit to any dish. If you like your sauces mild and like me cant get enough of jalapenos on you nachos this is well worth a try. Pick up some Mad Dog Green Amigo Hot Sauce from Scorchio by clicking Here

Da Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot sauce Review

Da' Bomb Beyond InsanityDa' Bomb Beyond Insanity is a hot sauce that focuses on purely heat. The bottle claims to be:

"One of the hottest sauces on earth! Pure habanero pepper enhanced with habanero infused flavor create a sauce measured at 119,700 scoville units. Wicked beyond belief!"

There is no doubt that this is a leader of a hot sauce from the USA with a reasonable price tag of arounf £5.50 for a 4oz bottle. The ingredients are quite basic: Habanero peppers, water, natural pepper flavouring, vinegar and spices. but boy do they pack in the Habanero peppers into this hot sauce. For me this sauce lacked flavour but does have a hint of smokiness.

If heat is your thing and you like cool looking hot sauce names in your collection then pick up a bottle of Da' Bomb Beyond Insanity from Scorchio by clicking here or on the bottle.

CaJohn Select Chilli Purees Fatalii Review

@CajohnFieryFood have produced a fantastic range of select Chili puree products that are very useful for everyday use or to add power and flavour to your cooking.

"CaJohn selects only the finest chiles for his signature line of purees. Ground fresh from the fields, they are blended with distilled vinegar. Citric acid and Vitamin C are added to preserve color, then they are bottled immediately. The result is a minimum of 80% chile solids, more than four times the content of most hot sauces. These purees are wonderful for inclusion in your culinary creations, or sauces of your own design."

The Fatalii is known for it's extreme heat and citrus flavor. Because of such flavor and heat it makes for a unique hot sauce that usually compromises of other citrus flavors like lime and lemon. The walls of the peppers are very thin which makes it very easy to dry. After drying they can be used as powders The Scoville Food Institute lists the Fatalii as the sixth hottest pepper with Scoville units ranging from 125,000 ~ 325,000 units.

I had not tried the Fatalii chilli before and loved this puree, I would relates the taste similar to that of a scotch bonnet or habanero. very fruity and very powerful but very tasty too. Adding this sauce to a chilli con carne woud produce a very unique dish and certainly blow you head off if you add too much.

This puree hot sauce looks more pricey than other sauces but in the bottle you are getting a high concentration of the actual chili pepper so you are in fact getting great value for money and CaJohns has done all the hard work for you compressing a pile of tasty chilli peppers into just one bottle ready for you to use. @CaJohnFieryFood Holy Jolokia Sauce:

CaJohn's Holy Jolokia Hot SauceSupport @chilepepperinst by buying a bottle of Holy Jolokia Hot Sauce and the Chile Pepper Institute in Mexico will receive a portion of the bottle sales helps to fund research and education at the Institute into the wonderful chilli pepper that we all love.

The Chile Pepper Institute is an international nonprofit organization devoted to education, research, and archiving information related to Capsicum. Since its inception in 1992, it has been a recognized research institute in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University

Holy Jolokia Hot Sauce is very special indeed! A 2010 Golden Chile Winner from a great hot sauce producer CaJohns who continues to  go from strength to strength with his ever expanding range of unique and quality sauces. The hot sauce contains the Bhut Jolokia chili, measured at over a million Scoville Heat Units. This chili is also sometimes referred to as the ghost chilli or ghost pepper holding a Guinness World Record in 2007 for the hottest chilli in the world.

Bhut Jolokia

Not only will you be doing good by buying this sauce helping the research and development of the chilli pepper, you wont be disappointed by the fresh flavour and heat the sauce gives you in return. A notable interesting ingredient is 'lemon extract' which lifts and compliments the heat of the Bhut Jolokia surprisingly well. In fact the bottle claims:

"Caution: Your taste buds may cry out, "Holy Jolokia"

I found that I really couldn't put this sauce down and it felt great at the same time (maybe from the chilli buzz) that I was supporting the institute too. Pick up a bottle of Holy Jolokia from Scorchio by clicking here and see if you will cry out 'Holy Jolokia'. Upton Cheyney Chilli Sunshine Sauce review:

@Chilli_Farmer have again delighted me with Sunshine sauce the third hot sauce I have tried from the good people at the Upton Cheyney Chilli Company.

As with all their hot sauces the label has their trademark homely design to it welcoming you in and how can you resist a a very funky looking sun holding a couple of chilli peppers!

The bottle says "A hot sauce with flavours of summer including pineapple, honey and lime. Drizzle over salad for a taste of sunshine"

The ingredients are truly summery ingredients including pineapple which gives that sunshine feel. The addition of honey provides the sweetness and habanero lets you feel the heat of the sun. This hot sauce does not focus on the heat of the habanero and will not blow your head off. Instead the other ingredients compliment the natural fruity flavour of the habanero and this is a good thing. The overall sauce is a great for livening up all manner of salads or as a dip. I found sunshine sauce went well with pizza and a rather interesting prawn stir fry.

Why should you buy this sauce....The passion the Upton Cheyney Chilli Company have for their farm and their products is clear, and this is evident in the quality of the sauces they produce. Their chilis are organic and home grown and their ever expanding range of sauces are ones you should check out. If habanero heat is not for don't worry they have a full range of tasty stuff worth giving a go, including my favourite 'oak smoked chipotle sauce'

Check out their online farm shop here and pick up a bottle of sunshine from them direct and support this UK company. I certainly look forward to working my way through the rest of their sauces.

Jekyll or Hyde Hot Sauce Review:

Jekyll or Hyde - You Decide!@GrimReaperFoods have produced something special and unique. The Reaper has kindly provided me with a sneak peak of something that will both tempt and intrigue you from his hot sauce range. Jekyll or Hyde … you decide.

On the bottle you find: "Alone in the laboratory the doctors experiment was complete. Dare she try the potion… why not? What harm could it do?"

I love the building story that comes with this line of sauces from Grim Reaper Foods, it give an overall feeling of the dark arts at work in an underground kitchen.

Jekyll or Hyde begins with Chipotle chilli sauce in the larger bottle. This sauce is gorgeously sticky and thick and will work well as the bottle suggests with dishes like pulled pork and ribs adding a lovely warmth to your food and depth of flavour with the golden syrup. This sauce on its own is very tasty and worthy of production by itself. However the fiery foods award winning Reaper (Russell Williams) likes to do things a little different and always goes that extra mile to bring us a not just a good sauce but a truly great sauce!

Jekyll's Potion: Now this where it gets interesting, Jekyll's potion is added drop by drop to the sauce and this serious stuff, basically pure chili "do not ingest in pure form."

The joy from the true experimentation Jekyll’s potion allows you have, makes this more than just another hot chili sauce. You can have the basic sauce which tastes great on its own or become "Hyde", pimping your sauce with some powerful heat from the potion to you personal taste. This makes the sauce very versatile as you can pour out different pots of it and individually mix. Why not create your own laboratory with different pots or event test tubes and create your own selections of sauces.. evil laugh optional.

I played around with different mixes using a couple of teaspoons of sauce and adding increasing drops of potion you can actually see the stuff working and with each taste you find yourself returning for more and adding 'just a little more potion... after all what harm can a little more do' Beware this stuff is extremely moreish and can also become very hot very quickly and I love it!

If you are a chilli or hot sauce fan then this sauce is a must in your collection. You just have to experience the pleasure, pain and sheer fun to be had with such a combination. Jekyll or Hyde - You Decide! is now available from Scorchio by Clicking here or the picture above.

PS: I do worry what fellow insane hot sauce reviewer Darth Naga will do with the potion, i'm sure something will pop up on you-tube or maybe the national news.....

CaJohn Magma Sauce Review

CaJohn's Magma Hot Sauce
@CajohnFieryFood has produced one of the most creative sauces I have seen for a while CaJohn's Magma Hot Sauce. I have had this one on my shelf for a while admiring it and saving it.

Finally I have opened this intriguing bottle from the USA to see what it is all about. The first reason you should buy this sauce for your collection is that it looks very very cool and you will have nothing like it already.

The slogan says "shake to wake the sauce."At first glance you could mistake it for water, but tilt, then shake the bottle and Magma comes to life. A full 1 million Scoville units floats on top of the vinegar. It hides under the shrink sleeve until you turn it over. Shake it up and it changes color, set it down and the capsaicin settles back to its hiding place.

I like hot sauces with warning and this one is no exception "WARNING! An eruption of disastrous proportions. EXTREMELY HOT!"

The Ingredients are very basic Vinegar, water, salt and oleoresin of capsicum and let you know that it really is basically Magma inside. When you try it you wont be disappointed and will see why there is a warning. CaJohn's Magma Hot Sauce is great for a party piece and for adding to cocktails particularly the bloody Mary. It can also be added to dishes to give a very warm flavour, enhancing stews and soups. Where will you use it?

Smokin Devil Sauce

Chillipepper Pete's Chipotle Smokin'Dragon Hot Sauce@CPPete are my local masters of hot sauce production as as you know I am very fond of the sauces they have produced over the years. This  Smokin Devil Hot Sauce is usually among my regular stock cupboard of hot chili sauces. For those of you who follow Chilli Pepper Pete this sauce has also been known as the 'Smokin Dragon' hot sauce. Unlike other chipotle sauce is different as it also contains tamarind and other fruits ingredients such as pineapples and grape juice. As a result this sauce is good not just on its own where ever you would choose to dollop it. Its versatility and real strength is seen when use use it in your cooking by adding to dishes like a curry or chili con carne.

The sauce itself is a mild one as you might expect and is quite thick in texture. The unique flavours balance well with the rich smokiness of the chipotle. In our house I have to fight my partner for this sauce as she often claims its hers and 'needs it' for her cheese on toast in the evening.

If you would like to pick some up then click here to purchase from scorchio.

Upton Cheyney Mango, Lime and Habanero Hot Sauce Review

@chilli_farmer in Upton Cheyney kindly provided me with a bottle of their Mango, Lime and Habanero Hot Sauce to try. The bottle has their trademark appealing homely look to it, giving the sauce a real organic feel before you even try it. Checking out the ingredients the ones that caught my eye were cider vinegar, red and orange habanero and interestingly English mustard which I believe adds a stroke of genius to the flavour.
The bottle says: An exotic hot sauce, based on mango and lime for a bitter sweet taste with red habanero's for a fiery finish. Be aware - it's is a very HOT sauce!

Upton Cheyney Chilli Company - Mango, Lime & Habanero Sauce

I tried this hot sauce over a fillet of salmon with a nice crunchy salad. The red habaneros indeed give this sauce its kick tempered only by the cool well matched mango and sharpened just enough by the lime. I would definitely buy this sauce again and will be investigating where I can use it in my next dish tonight. Im thinking a spiced yoghurt dip to go with a curry...

Why should you but this sauce....The passion the Upton Cheyney chilli Company have for their farm and their products is clear, and this is evident in the quality of the sauces they produce. Their chilis are organic and home grown and their ever expanding range of sauces are ones you should check out. If habanero heat is not for don't worry they have a full range of tasty stuff worth giving a go.

Check out their online farm shop here and pick up a bottle from them direct or from Scorchio by clicking here and look forward to a bottle of joy from these easy going people.

Upton Cheyney Chilli Company: Oak Smoked Chipotle Sauce

@Chilli_Farmer Upton Cheney Chilli Company were recent discovery to me and I was very keen to try out their range of homely looking chili hot sauces. First up is their Oak Smoked Chipotle Sauce. The bottle is understated and raises your curiosity of the contents. The word Chipotle always gets my attention but I first noted the words above 'oak smoked' had me reaching to open the bottle as soon as I received it.

The sauce smells gorgeous, thick and sweet from the molasses and crucially smokey! if you check out their website you will find that their fresh red ripe Jalapeno's are oak smoked for 18 hours!!!! Before being ground up to create a chipotle spice. Now that's dedication to good sauce making.

I have tasted many chipotle sauces that rely too much on the flavour of the chipotle alone to carry the sauce through. This is not the case for the Upton Cheyney Chilli Company creation. This medium heat sauce will have you salivating and reaching for more instantly with its addictive sweet heat. I highly recommend checking out this sauce. You won't be disappointed. Click here to pick some Oak Smoked Chipotle Sauce from Scorchio

This sauce even has the seal of approval from my partner who is a chipotle sauce lover "I wholly approve of the smokey taste of this sauce it is one of the nicest chipotle sauces I have ever tasted"

After writing this review I couldn't stop myself, and made a plate of nachos covered in the sauce then decided to pick up a pack of chicken wings and marinate ready for a BBQ in the evening. The bottle didn't last me the whole weekend and is already on my wish list.....

The Evil One

@GrimReaperFoods were a new company to me. On a regular trip to Chilli Pepper Petes store to stock up I noticed that this sauce first had a very cool name The Evil One Hot Sauce and was Fiery Foods UK chilli award winner 2010.

“and so it was, with the sands of time expired, the Reaper came for what now was his to collect, however his plans were far more sinister, his instructions were simple, to remain amongst us, to increase the heat, and to be known from now and for ever as ‘the Evil one’

With a build up like that and always eager to try a new hot sauce and support new uk chili suppliers I picked up a bottle. Grim Reaper Foods are a very new company and their first sauce lives up to its name. The 100ml bottle of hot sauce contains Scotch Bonnet chile, orange capsicums, red capsicums, onions, cider vinegar, oranges, white wine vinegar, sugar, lemons, carrots, naga jolokia chillies, salt, citric acid, chilli oleoresin @ 6% Pure (1 million Scovilles) So as you might guess it has a good kick to it!

Alongside the kick you get a delicious combination of citrus flavours from the orange and a hint of sweetness with the heat making this a sauce like no other I had tried before.
I have used this Evil One Hot Sauce covering chicken wings and drumsticks to take advantage of the sweet sticky flavour and caramelising through cooking. Its great too with fish,  burgers or just to spice up your favourite dish. Beware though a bottle this size and this tasty will not last you very long and you could be calling on the reaper sooner than you expect. If you would like to try some pick up a bottle by clicking here to challenge the Reaper! Enjoy.

Since writing this review for Grim Reaper Foods I have learnt that the reaper has now launched his second sauce The Rookie Goblin currently available from the reaper himself on his very own store I have yet to try some but hope to soon and will let you know what it is like.

Chilli Pepper Petes Naga Headhunter Sauce

Chillipepper Pete's Naga Headhunter Sauce@CPPete has brought out a new Head Hunter hot sauce based on the great naga chili pepper. Some of you may remember that there used to be three head hunter sauces. In my opinion the best of the three is winning the race. The bottle says:

"This sauce has been a New age ketchup for the seasoned chilli head. Use liberally 3 times a day. Even works with pudding. Splash it all over."

Chilli Pepper Pete makes great sauces in my opinion and he is without doubt my favourite UK producer. I have long been a follower from his early days at my local markets. Many of his sauces are award winning power houses with heat not for mere mortals. This all natural Head Hunter Naga based hot sauce from chilli pepper pete is a delicious mix of sweet and savoury mixing together pineapple, tomato, onions, fresh naga chilli, dried naga chilli, Aleppo chilli, sugar, garlic and salt. The combination of enough heat from the naga to satisfy and a wonderful flavour that you will find any chili head reaching for again and again however hot you like your sauce. I used an entire bottle at a BBQ once and now it is on my shopping wish list for my next order! Click here to get some Chillipepper Pete's Naga Headhunter Sauce

Oh and if you are reading Pete or Rose I love the new labels for the bottles too!

Frank's RedHot Chile n Lime Hot Sauce

Frank's RedHot Chile 'n' Lime Hot Sauce - 354ml
Franks RedHot Chile n Lime

Frank's RedHot Chile 'n' Lime Hot Sauce is a very tasty all round hot chili sauce from the USA. This is the kind of stuff you can keep in your cupboard and bring out for everyone. Where you might reach for Tabasco sauce think about giving this one a try. The bottle says Frank's RedHot Chile 'n' Lime Hot Sauce  is a party-hearty surge of flavour. A heat wave of chile and spice blended with a tangy burst of citrus, it's a match made in hot sauce heaven.

The hot chili sauce uses the Cayenne red pepper which gives it a distinct flavour without the intense heat of other sauces making this accessible to all people that want to add some warmth to their food. Once you have tried it you instantly see it will go with most foods tacos, steak, nachos, salsa, salads, fish, fajitas, burgers chicken....... I have already used this in tacos last night and its great click on the picture to pick some up.

The sauce is also great for adding to drinks as its quite thin making it perfect for experimentingwith a Bloody Mary or where ever your imagination will lead you like a Flatliner Shooter:

Pour the Tequila to nearly half way of the shooter glass
Slowly pour in sambuca against the side of the glas so it creates two levels.
Finally add the Franks RedHot Sauce drop by drop to taste
Knock back the shooter and enjoy
